Law & Public Safety focuses on the history of law and legal systems in the United States. Students will learn personal health and safety in the workplace, study how jails and prisons function, learn fire protection and emergency management, and careers in the military. Students will be introduced to a variety of occupations: correctional officers, fire fighters, EMT’s, court reporters and military careers. This is a two year program for 10th through 12th graders. Skills USA is the student organization for competition.
