Hands-On Learning. Real-World Success.

Computer Science & Engineering

The Computer Science & Engineering course is a project-based program that combines modeling, physical design, and coding to show how computing and engineering work together to solve real-world problems. Students explore the engineering design process while developing problem-solving, critical thinking, teamwork, and project management skills.

This one-semester, one-Carnegie-unit course satisfies the computer credit required for graduation and gives students valuable insight into STEM career pathways. CSE introduces students to both computer science and engineering concepts, providing a strong foundation for future coursework and career opportunities.

Students also have the opportunity to join SkillsUSA, where they can further develop leadership and technical skills.
